By the end of the third month of pregnancy at the latest, your favourite jeans won't fit anymore. Your bra will probably pinch much earlier. Now it's time to spoil yourself with beautiful maternity fashion and get yourself a few comfortable maternity bras. The first question is of course what size you now need. This is our area of expertise and we have put together our recommendations on this page for you. So nothing can go wrong. Simply try on everything in peace at home, and if something does not fit, it is no problem at all for you to return it to us and get your money back immediately. Are you also ready to get your baby items? Then it's time to start shopping. Below you will find the size recommendations for our baby clothes.
First things first: Just because you have a baby belly now doesn't mean you have to wear everything two sizes larger than before your pregnancy. On the contrary, it's all very easy! Please simply order exactly the same size you wore before pregnancy. Because all our models are cut in such a way that they leave enough room for your belly to grow.

Do I even need a nursing bra? Yes!
Usually breasts grow in size and weight early on in pregnancy, begin to feel tight, and are suddenly hypersensitive. Moreover, your chest is expanding to make room for your baby bump. A normal bra usually just has a closure with a maximum of two to three adjustable hook-rows. Often these are not lined and rub too hard on your now very sensitive skin. High time for a new bra. You can either get a solely maternity bra first, or buy a few nursing bras now that you will still be able to wear after birth, while you are breastfeeding, and long after. Our nursing bras usually have closures with at least six hook-rows, which means they will still fit when your chest goes back to its normal size after childbirth. Nursing bras come with a velvety-soft lining and also have no seams in the sensitive nipple area. They also have special nursing clips on the straps, which you can open with one hand so you have your hands free for your baby while breastfeeding. And they have enough space for nursing inserts that you will use in the first few weeks of your nursing time.
How do I figure out my size?
Once your breasts begin to grow and gain weight, you absolutely need additional support so that stretch marks do not form and your breasts go back to their former shape after breastfeeding. We therefore recommend that you take exact measurements at the beginning of the fourth month of pregnancy at the latest. You should then measure again in the seventh month. Measuring is very easy. Please proceed as follows: put on a normal bra for measuring. Please do not use one with padded cups because it will give you the wrong cup size.
To determine your nursing bra size you need two measurements:
1 - under bust
Measure here with a tape measure directly under your breasts. It is best to stand facing the side in front of a mirror and make sure that the tape measure is straight and at the same level all around. Now breath out and take the measurement. Hold the measuring tape tightly around your body and not too loose. The number you get is your underbust size and will be a number such as 75cm, 80cm or 85cm. Refer to the following table to see which underbust size corresponds to your number. In other countries there are different number formats for underbust sizes. You can also see these in the table.
2 - upper chest (cup size)
This measurement determines the size of your breasts and is translated into cup size - i.e. A, B, C and so on. Please measure exactly at the level where your breasts are fullest for this. Check in a mirror from the side again that the tape is at the same level all around your body. The tape measure should be held loosely for this measurement. You should err on the side of rounding up, not down...
Now you simply have to look at the two values in our table to see what nursing bra size you should order. Babies develop very differently. Some need time to put on weight and size, for others this is quite fast. The guidelines for clothing sizes for the little ones are therefore only approximate at a certain age. If you are unsure about what size you should order, go for the next size up. Then it will at least be the right size after the next growth spurt.
